About Lögdö Wild
All land is owned by SCA Skog, registration number: 556048-2852, and traditional forestry is conducted here, except within the nature reserves.
Lögdö Wild is located in the wilderness between Sundsvall, Timrå, Kramfors, and Sollefteå, encompassing both the Fageråsen and Rigåsen nature reserves—a place where you can truly find peace and quiet.
Locally, the area is simply known as “the mountains”. When arriving in Lögdö, you’re struck by the vast open marshes, the crisp air, and the grand, untouched nature.
Here, you can rent a cabin and just unwind—maybe teach your children how to build a fire. You can buy a fishing license for one of the many put-and-take waters, or why not try your luck catching elusive wild trout? Bring your bikes too—there are miles of gravel roads to explore. The lakes are maintained by on-site staff to ensure a good experience for all our visitors.
You're welcome to pick cloudberries, lingonberries, and blueberries freely. Or why not try gathering cranberries, which grow in patches across the large marshlands?
For a limited time each year, we welcome hunting guests to Lögdö, with the opportunity to hunt small game—perhaps even try your luck at capercaillie hunting. You’ll handle the hunt and dogs yourself, but we’ll gladly give you tips on where to find beavers or follow the tracks of a hare. With 75,000 hectares of hunting grounds, pressure on the game remains low.
Lögdö Wild includes many lakes with naturally occurring stocks of Arctic char, trout, rainbow trout, pike, and perch. In some waters, fish are stocked to improve the fishing experience.
A well-developed road network now makes it easy to access lakes, old charcoal pits, and even get close to beaver lodges in the wilderness.
We also provide dedicated camper parking areas.
You can visit Lögdö with a printed map and, once on-site, pay for your campsite easily via our website. The same goes for purchasing a fishing license—just follow the instructions on the signs at the camping area.
Camping is only allowed at designated locations.
